Overview
We are seeking two bilingual individuals for part time work at 10-15 hours per week each between 10am-3pm. It is essential for the individuals to be kind, detail-oriented and organized to support our daily office operations. The ideal candidates will possess strong clerical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and to provide outstanding support for both staff and clients.
Duties
- Guide and support the customer through the first point of contact.
- Manage the scheduling of patient appointments for new and existing clients.
- Assist with patient inquiries and provide information on services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Create patient invoices and process payments.
- Stocking, ordering and organizing hearing aids and parts.
- Minor cleaning and repairs of hearing aids.
- Using and creating office forms in Excel and Word.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, email and paper correspondence, and the shipping & receiving of packages.
Requirements
- Recent experience as a receptionist or similar role
- A kind, patient and compassionate personality
- A professional demeanor with excellent communication and time management skills
- Be able to problem solve and take ownership of a situation
- Independently driven, resourceful and self-sufficient
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with computerized systems for patient records, forms and email communications
- Fluent in English and French languages, both verbal and written
Job Type
- In-Person Part time 3 days a week or 2 days a week 10am-3pm
Education and Experience
- College Diploma in applicable field or High School Diploma with 1 or more years of recent experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
