Administrative Assistant

HUNTER EXPRESS LTD. - Brampton, ON

Hunter Express Ltd, a single-source provider of transportation and logistics services, is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant in our Accounting Department in Brampton, ON.

Responsibilities:

  • Help other office teams (Accounting, Safety, Dispatch, etc.) with projects as needed.
  • Communicating with transportation drivers to receive the PODs on time.
  • Review the PODs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist Accounting department with invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Maintaining driver files and fleet documents to ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide administrative support including generation of reports, presentations, policies and general correspondence documents.
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative logistics and service experience is an asset but not required
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills
