Northern Metalic Sales is a Canadian Independent Industrial Distributor based in Grande Prairie, AB with operations across Alberta & BC.
Northern Metalic Sales is part of a larger, diverse group of companies with interests in wholesale distribution, oilfield service & supply, lubricants distribution, safety supplies & field services, land and real estate development, rail construction, transload, and finance.
We are currently seeking applicants to work with our Rigging Shop team at Northern Metalic in Clairmont AB as a Shop Hand/Labourer.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment. Includes but is not limited to:
- Performing site inspections
- Putting away stock and inventory management.
- Assisting with material handling using forklifts, hand trucks & overhead crane.
- Performing basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Helping with assembly and testing of rigging products or components.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical Fitness required, must be able to lift 50lbs
- Stand for 8 hours per day.
Tasks include pushing, pulling, kneeling.
An ideal candidate will have strong ambition to learn, attention to detail, safety awareness, and be able to work effectively as a team to complete tasks efficiently in a fast paced work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
