Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer/ Driver Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks that support our operations, including moving Bins, operating equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong communication skills and a willingness to learn, making it an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in moving Bins and materials as needed throughout the facility and at customer locations.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support team members with loading and unloading shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding tasks and any issues that arise.
- Follow instructions for various projects, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and move freight safely within the work environment.
- A valid driving license is required with a clean abstract
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a physically demanding role.
- Must be bondable and a police check is required.
