Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to residents and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of property management practices, and the ability to effectively handle tenant relations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly.
- Coordinate property inspections, maintenance, and repairs, liaising with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Manage tenant leases, including renewals and terminations, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and distribute property-related documents, including reports, newsletters, and notices.
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting for properties, including tracking expenses and processing invoices.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors to promote a collaborative community environment.
- Facilitate and perform all condition reports for incoming and outgoing tenants while providing all necessary information pertaining to the properties.
- Assist with maintenance staff training.
- Other duties as assigned by the employer.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong background in real estate administrative roles or property management is essential.
- Proficiency in conflict management and negotiation skills to handle tenant disputes effectively.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive relationships with residents.
- Experience in property maintenance coordination and facilities management is advantageous.
- Administrative experience including data entry, filing, and office organization is required.
