What you’ll do:
The Administrative Coordinator provides vital support to the team by coordinating office operations and handling administrative tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position would work closely with the General Manager, HR, & OHS.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Organizing and maintaining the accounting file structure.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and other documents as needed. This position would work closely with the General Manager, Human Resources & OHS.
- Providing excellent, knowledgeable feedback as a member service representative.
- Leading with courteous reception services for answering, directing calls to appropriate departments, and taking messages.
- Support HR or finance functions such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, or maintaining employee records.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all administrative practices. Adherence to company policies and procedures in all administrative practices.
- Facilitate and deliver talent management practices, including the on-boarding/integration for both team members and team leaders. Develop or revise existing deliverables with respect to new talent management practices so roles and responsibilities are clearly understood. Conduct benefits orientation for all team members and team leaders.
- Support the recruitment process within the retail, including the creation of postings, pre-screens, interviews, career fairs, references, and offers.
- Advise Team Leaders on the recruitment process and provide recommendations on the most qualified applicants.
- Compile, verify and prepare reports and statistics for HR and the retail as required.
- Assist with follow up to maintain accurate employee records and statistics (ex. seniority adjustment requirements, addition of dependents, etc.). Support reporting and requests for data analytics to help inform business decisions.
- Coordinate and implement employee relations programs, which may include Perfect Attendance Recognition, service awards, Scholarship Program, etc.
- Support and assist OHS Coordinator with incident investigations, inspections, and OHS Committee. Coordinates safety training, which may include CPR and First Aid as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who are you:
Looking for a career in Administration:
- You have post-secondary education in Business Administration, or related field; though a relevant combination of education and Office Administration experience in a finance, accounting, or Business Administration position will be considered.
- 1- 3 years of relevant experience.
- You are highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, ) and Adobe document editing software, and function very effectively in a technology-based environment.
- You have strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and handle accountability well.
- You thrive in a high-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt to many changing duties.
- You are highly organized, honest, and trustworthy, are results-oriented, striving to be the best in what you do, and fully willing to learn new
