Join our team as a Homestay Coordinator!
The Newfoundland International Student Education Program (NISEP) is searching for a Homestay Coordinator in the greater Corner Brook area.
The Homestay Coordinator acts as a support for international students, their homestay families, as well as the public schools in their region. As an independent contractor, the successful candidate will assist students during their time in the province to ensure the best possible experience. In addition, the Homestay Coordinator is also responsible for the recruitment and monitoring of homestay families. As an independent contractor, you will be reimbursed $90 per month, per student.
Qualifications:
- University degree – Preferably in Social Work or Education. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Ability to work flexible hours – Must own a vehicle, along with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Must be proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently, under deadlines.

Labrador with international students in both junior high and high school. Today, NISEP is home to nearly 300 students annually, from more than 30 countries.
