Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-loving, team-player to assist with the daily operations of our local, family run, store & cafe. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Market's daily activities, providing exceptional service to customers and support to the owners.
The ideal candidate:
You are a true "Foodista" - your dream vacation is a New York food tour or maybe just checking out all the greatest spots Vancouver has to offer.
You love everything from apples to yams; affogato to Zaatar buns and are motivated by the opportunity to manage and be creative with all of these things, Displaying our fresh local produce so it looks like a work of art, or creating a potential new café offering (or both) is what gets you up in the morning.
Attention to detail is key - you make managing supplies and inventory seem effortless.
Being pulled in 3 directions at once brings out your inner Super Hero and dealing with a challenging customer just brings out the Best Version of You
Produce, cafe or food service experience is an asset but not required...we will train the skills once we find the fit.
