- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe area, including dining spaces, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food handling guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout the day.
- Collaborate with team members to provide prompt service and support during busy periods.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Proficient in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong math skills for processing payments and managing cash flow.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is essential.
- Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
