Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including dining areas, counters, and equipment.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments accurately.
- Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the cafe is well-equipped for service.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Close the cafe efficiently by following established procedures for cleaning, securing the premises, and preparing for the next day’s operations.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee and knowledge of espresso preparation is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
