Denro Property Management Ltd. is seeking a qualified onsite live-in caretakerto operate a Senior Housing, 50-unit, Low-rise residence.
Reporting to the Corporation’s Management, the onsite live-in caretaker is responsible for the daily administration, the cleaning of buildings and the regular maintenance and repair of the Low-rise building and its common areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administration:
o Collect all payments and deposits.
o Process purchase orders and submit to Management.
o Lease, maintain, and record all extra parking.
o Monitor all move in/outs.
Maintenance:
o Daily inspections of interior and exterior of the buildings for any maintenance or repair requirements.
o Monthly inspections of sump pumps and crawl spaces.
o Arranging annual inspections of fireplaces.
o Check and log daily inspections of boilers, pumps, water softeners, etc.
o Receive supplies and submit paperwork to Management.
o Maintain quality grounds keeping.
o Maintain snow and ice removal from steps and sidewalks and arrange to have snow removed from parking lots and sanded.
o Day to day janitorial duties.
o Any other maintenance as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
o Experience in building/facility management
o Residential property management experience is an asset.
o Experience in customer service is an asset.
o Above average problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
o Must be able to work weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with availability to work on-call as needed.
o Must possess a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle.
o Relevant trade certificate preferred.
o Strong communication skills in English. This includes both written and verbal communication.
