Quality Inn Airport Dieppe is looking for a full time Front Desk Agent to join their team!
As a Front Desk Agent, Welcome our guests to the hotel with a smile, check in/out, handle any guest’s issues or aid them with their travel needs. Must be bilingual and had some customer service experience.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will:
- Verify the balance of all cash float, credit and debit charge.
- Be prompt and courteous in all guests’ interaction, including, but not limited to check-in, check-out, telephone and personal inquiries, luggage and vehicle handling; and travel information to both internal and external guests.
- Perform your task according to policies, procedures, quality standards, and services sequences established by the management team for the satisfactions of guests.
- Work mornings, evenings or night shift
- Take a calm professional approach at all times.
- Verify the balance of all cash floats, credit and debit charges for the hotel.
- Ensure room security by maintaining effective key control and confidentiality.
- Address guest concerns in a positive and helpful manner and take a prompt, corrective action where necessary.
- Maintain a high level of integrity by respecting the privacy of our guests and co-workers.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- An understanding of the front desk function in a hotel, with a working knowledge of reservation systems
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent computer skills
- The ability to speak in both French and English languages
- Courteous telephone manners
- The ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
