Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in both kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting shortages to management.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of food products.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with food preparation and serving is beneficial.
