As we embark on a transformative project to implement a unified fleet tracking, crew tracking, and airport turn management solution, we are seeking a Specialist, Strategic Systems Implementation - Crew Scheduling to represent crew scheduling functions throughout the program.

- Serve as the crew scheduling functional lead throughout the implementation of integrated fleet, crew, and airport turn platforms.
- Collaborate with the Business Lead, IT, Commercial Operations (SOC), Flight Operations, Airports, and Technical Operations to ensure crew scheduling considerations are accounted for in all major decisions.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables; monitor progress and escalate risks or dependencies.
- Identify crew-specific operational challenges and support the design of effective, scalable solutions aligned with regulatory and contractual frameworks.
- Support testing, training, and change adoption strategies tailored to crew scheduling teams.
- Provide regular updates to the Business Lead and program leadership; contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

- 5+ years of experience in airline crew scheduling or crew operations, with exposure to cross-functional transformation efforts.
- Deep understanding of scheduling systems, FOAG / labor agreements, regulatory compliance, and operational constraints.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to represent crew needs to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience participating in or supporting enterprise technology implementation is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jeppesen, Sabre, AIMS, LH Systems, CAE, NavBlue, or similar scheduling platforms.
- Exposure to business process improvement or change management practices.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to balance day-to-day needs with long-term transformation goals.
