Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Crew Truck Foreman . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oilfield maintenance & construction. The Crew Truck Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising a crew in the safe and efficient execution of field operations. Operating out of a crew truck, the Foreman ensures that all work is performed according to company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision
- Direct and supervise daily activities of crew members.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to crew.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of work.
- Safety & Compliance
- Conduct pre-job safety meetings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, procedures, and OH&S regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and immediately address unsafe practices.
- Operations & Equipment
- Drive and operate the crew truck to transport personnel, tools, and equipment.
- Perform or oversee maintenance, repairs, installations, or service work as required by the project.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available, maintained, and safely stored.
- Administration & Reporting
- Complete required documentation, including timesheets, safety reports, work orders, and incident reports.
- Communicate job progress, issues, and requirements to management and clients.
- Track inventory and ensure supplies are restocked as needed.
- Client & Team Relations
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and site representatives.
- Foster teamwork, cooperation, and respect within the crew.
- Proven experience in oilfield construction & maintenance or a related field is essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in [oilfield/construction/utilities/etc.].
- Strong working knowledge of industry-specific practices, tools, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1, 3, or equivalent may be required depending on jurisdiction).
- Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO) as required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and remote locations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
