Corporate Chef Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Chef to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional culinary expertise — the Corporate Chef will serve as a culinary ambassador, supporting sales, marketing, and customer service teams in promoting our commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will combine a strong culinary background with business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers succeed. This position ensures that the best practices are implemented, and commercial growth is achieved.
Job Duties:
Culinary Leadership
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and training for customers, distributors, trade shows and internal teams on proper use of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Develop recipes, cooking techniques, and application guides tailored to showcase our equipment’s features and benefits.
- Consistent communication with manufacturers to fully understand their equipment and features.
- Cater our company events such as summer BBQ’s, employee appreciation events, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized test kitchen.
Sales Support
- Partner with account managers to assist in client meetings, product pitches, and trade shows, offering culinary expertise to help close deals.
- Conduct live demos for prospective customers both in-house and on-site.
- Translate culinary needs into equipment solutions that align with customer operations.
- Organize, document and contact leads generated by manufacturers, social media/ad campaigns, and customer inquiries.
Marketing Collaboration
- Create content for promotional videos, webinars, and social media that promotes brand awareness and product education.
- Serve as brand expert at industry events, trade shows, and culinary exhibitions.
- Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotional materials that highlight equipment performance.
Customer Service
- Provide after-sales support, including training, troubleshooting, and best practices for equipment usage.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the technical service/parts team to ensure smooth and efficient customer satisfaction.
- Collect customer feedback and insights to improve product development and service offerings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, Culinary Consultant, or equivalent role in the foodservice industry with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge/experience of using commercial kitchen equipment and modern culinary techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with public speaking, training, and media appearances.
- Business-oriented mindset with prior exposure to sales and marketing collaboration preferred.
- Ability to travel for trade shows, customer visits, and training sessions as required. Must be flexible and willing to attend events that may occur outside standard working hours or require short-notice scheduling.
- Travel may include domestic and occasional international locations, depending on business needs.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
