Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute creative menu selections for member dining, themed events, and a wide range of functions, including banquets, weddings, celebrations of life, and corporate events.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Effectively manage kitchen staff, labour costs, and inventory control.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture and motivate staff to excel in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with club members and clients, ensuring an outstanding dining experience and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with club management on event planning and execution.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and club standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role, ideally in a high-volume, banquet-focused environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated creativity and passion for developing diverse, innovative menus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and client-focused.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure while delivering top-quality service.
- Team player with a hands-on approach.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $80,000 per year, plus bonuses
