Role Overview
We are seeking a Head Chef for an initial 2-month contract to lead our kitchen team and bring innovation to health-focused cuisine. Following this period, there will be an opportunity to discuss a longer-term role as we continue expanding into new cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop weekly menus that are low-inflammatory, nutrient-dense, and delicious.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including meal prep, packaging, and delivery coordination.
- Source high-quality ingredients and maintain supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a spotless kitchen.
- Collaborate with our nutrition team to ensure meals meet specific wellness goals.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a health-focused, high-volume, or meal-prep environment.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and whole-food cooking techniques.
- Creative recipe development skills that balance flavor, health, and visual appeal.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide a small team under tight timelines.
- FoodSafe certification (or equivalent) required.
What We Offer
- $35/hour
- Minimum 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Initial 2-month contract, with potential for a longer-term leadership role.
