We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for decorating cakes, with a strong background in the food industry. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes that meet our customers' specifications and expectations.
Duties
- Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and special events.
- Prepare cake batter and other ingredients in accordance with recipes and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences for cake designs.
- Ensure all cakes are packaged properly for delivery or display while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in handling ingredients.
- Assist with baking tasks as needed, including preparing other baked goods.
Skills
- Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including fondant application, piping, and airbrushing.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation methods and cooking techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
