We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic behaviour interventionist (BI) with experience working with children and some knowledge of ABA to run home-based ABA sessions with a happy, playful, and social 6-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. The sessions will be in person at the learner's home (East Vancouver ) for 1.5 hours on Fridays (around 4 pm) and weekends (flexible with the time), and training will be provided under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Some of the learners' goals are language goals, social skills, and academics.
As a BI, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for implementing individualized behavioural plans, recording data, participating in scheduled team meetings, and collaborating with other team members and professionals. Your creativity and active participation will be highly valued and integral to the success of our sessions.
- Location: East Vancouver
- Days: Friday, or Saturday and Sunday ( anytime from 9 am-6 pm)
- Fluent in English
- Experienced working with young children with special needs, specifically ASD children.
