Abacus Behaviour Consulting provides behavioural support services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disabilities, and Mental Health concerns. Our primary goal is to increase the quality of life of the individuals we serve.
We are hiring Behaviour Interventionists as Independent Contractors to join our team!
BEHAVIOUR INTERVENTIONISTS implement ABA Play-based programs for children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities in the daycare and home settings.
They work as part of a team with Behaviour Consultants.
REQUIREMENTS
· Enjoy playing with children.
· Reliable, patient, and consistent
· Able to work independently.
· Able to take direction & feedback from Behaviour Consultant
· Able to work calmly with children with challenging behaviours
· Be physically able to “keep up” with children (running, squatting, kneeling, bending)
· Complete a Criminal Record Check
· At least 19 yrs old
· Willing to commit for 1 year
· Fluent in English
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 14 per week

Experience:
- working with children with Autism: 1 year (preferred)
