We are excited to announce that we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Interventionist to join our team.
This role is vital in providing support and guidance to a 3-year-old child with Autism, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and heart to this important position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children on the spectrum, particularly those who are non-verbal. We are also looking for someone who is comfortable acting as a caregiver for my two boys outside of therapy hours, once a connection and trust have been established.
Experience with Touch Chat is preferred, as it will be a great asset in this role. As a Behavioral Interventionist, your responsibilities will include assessing and evaluating the behavioral needs of children, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing behavior modification strategies and interventions based on best practices, and monitoring and documenting progress.
You will also be expected to collect data to inform ongoing treatment adjustments, collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for children, and foster positive relationships with children, promoting trust and open communication.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with children, particularly those with Autism, and a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You should be proficient in data collection methods related to behavioral assessments and have an outgoing personality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
