CLV is looking for a contractor to provide one-on-one mentorship to a thoughtful, funny, and socially engaged individual living in the South Fairfield area. This person brings a vibrant energy to every interaction—they love music, theater, and exploring how things work (especially elevators and fobs!). Recently, they’ve discovered a passion for math and are excited to keep learning. They enjoy connecting with others, have a great sense of humor, and value kindness, compassion, and a strong sense of integrity in their relationships. They hold certain personal values that are important to them—while shared beliefs aren’t necessary, a respectful and open-minded approach is essential. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about mentorship and skill-building. The individual is looking to grow their confidence in areas like:
- Shopping and meal planning
- Navigating daily routines and responsibilities
- Building life skills for greater independence
They are already quite independent in the community, but they’re eager to keep learning and developing in a supportive, structured way. Key Details:
- One shift per week, approx. 2-4 hours, likely during daytime hours
- Rate: $27.86/hr
- Support takes place in the individual’s home and community
- No personal care involved
- Must be comfortable working alongside family and a broader support team
- A valid driver’s license is an asset
