Job Overview
As a Transport Reefer Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the performance of Company's Reefer Trailer Fleet by ensuring maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently, effectively, and on time. Key responsibilities include conducting Preventative Maintenance checks, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and clearly communicating findings with the Maintenance Team.
Requirements:
Preferably, candidates will have over 5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing reefer units.
Holding a Journeyman Technician certification or being a licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic is an advantage and may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Having a Carrier Certification is also an asset.
Experience with computer-based work order entry is required.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
A valid Driver’s License is required.
