The Role
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Academic Advisor plays an integral role in student success by providing comprehensive and specialized academic guidance to NWP students regarding course selection, curriculum pathways, program majors, and the transfer credit process. The Academic Advisor collaborates closely with students and their chosen program to ensure that learners achieve the best possible academic outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors degree and 6 month relevant experience, a combination of education and experience will be considered. Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to operate and navigate student information systems and curriculum management software effectively
- Strong web based research skills
- Effective communicator through written and verbal channels with diverse stakeholders
- Collaboration skills in order to build and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels
- Consistently exhibits exceptional integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all responsibilities
