Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary clinic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing payments
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in electronic medical records system
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and support staff
- Help keep the hospital clean and organized
-Help hold animals
-Help prepare equipment for surgeries and procedures
-Help care for hospitalized patients (feed, prepare cages, clean cages)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn veterinary software systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus
-Bilingualism is necessary (French and English)
