Role Overview
We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Tour Operations & Ticketing Support Specialist to join our on-site travel team. This role combines responsibilities in both tour coordination and airline ticketing, ensuring a seamless travel experience for our customers from start to finish.
You will manage tour logistics, flight reservations, and provide responsive, professional support to both direct customers and travel agents. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about travel, organized under pressure, and experienced in the tourism or airline industry.
Key Responsibilities
Tour Operations
- Coordinate and confirm services including transportation, hotels, daily itineraries, and activities
- Communicate with suppliers (e.g., hotels, local operators, transportation companies) to ensure service accuracy
- Prepare and verify travel documents, including service vouchers, tickets, and itineraries
- Offer pre-tour, on-tour, and post-tour support to customers
- Collect client feedback to improve tour quality and service standards
Airline Ticketing & Reservations
- Handle flight bookings, changes, reissues, and cancellations using airline reservation systems (GDS preferred)
- Quote airfares and advise customers on best pricing, routing, and fare rules
- Monitor airline schedule changes or disruptions and assist with rebooking
- Ensure timely and accurate issuance of tickets based on airline and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in tour operations, ticketing, or a travel agency environment preferred
- Familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or similar is a strong asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation/CRM systems
- Bilingual skills are an asset
- Willingness to support some evening or weekend shifts as needed
Compensation
- Competitive and negotiable salary based on experience
- Candidates with senior-level experience in tour coordination or airline ticketing may be considered for enhanced compensation or responsibilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
