Brightside Learning provides Student Success Coaching to complex learners from grades one through university, who are affected by ADHD and executive functioning difficulties. We teach students how to learn by providing them with tools & opportunities to help them succeed academically and personally, and ultimately reach their full potential.
We are currently hiring Student Success Coaches to join our team for the 2025-2026 academic year. Candidates must be flexible to work after school, evening, and weekend hours and be available to work in person at our office located in DDO.
Student Success Coaches will be responsible for implementing strategies for organization, planning, time management, study skills, active reading comprehension and written expression, as well as for providing ongoing communication regarding student progress to our Director and parents.

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Currently enrolled in or holds a Bachelor of Education degree (related fields may be considered)
- Minimum of 3+ years experience working with diverse learners
- Extremely organized, pays attention to and notices detail
- Ability to identify needs, manage competing tasks and priorities
- Excellent ability to explain concepts in varying ways (people just seem to understand things when you explain it to them!)
- Ability to connect with and build impactful relationships with students
- An understanding of how the school system works, including typical practices regarding teaching methods, homework, grading systems and grade-level expectations
- Proven ability in liaising with parents
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English, working knowledge of French
- Excellent ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology

Compensation: Student Success Coaches join our team as independent contractors and are compensated at a rate of $28.00 per hour.
