Do you love kids, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for organization with a dash of creativity? We’re looking for a Front Desk Ninja (Administrator/Receptionist) to join our dynamic dojo and be the friendly face that keeps our ninjas, parents, and senseis smiling!
At Code Ninjas, kids (our Ninjas) learn to code by building video games. Our instructors are called Senseis. And the dojo? That’s where all the magic happens!
This role is more than just administration — you’ll be the heartbeat of the center, balancing warm welcomes with smooth operations, social media creativity with parent communication, and organization with fun.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Your Ninja Moves):
- Front-of-Dojo Hero: Greet ninjas and parents with a big smile, manage sign-ins & sign-outs, answer inquiries, and keep our dojo welcoming.
- Parent Liaison: Update parents on programs, progress, events, and upcoming opportunities.
- Creative Content Ninja: Capture photos/videos in the dojo, create engaging social media content, and showcase the magic of Code Ninjas online.
- Community Builder: Assist with event planning, camps, and dojo activities.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Cold call prospective families, follow up on leads, and help fill our dojo with future ninjas.
- Operations Assistant: Handle scheduling, reports, supplies, and support the Center Director with daily tasks.
- Dojo Care: Opening/closing duties and keeping the dojo clean, safe, and organized.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Your Ninja Skills):
- Outgoing, warm, and approachable — kids should love seeing you, and parents should trust you instantly.
- Highly organized and reliable; you keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Creative mindset with an eye for capturing moments on camera and turning them into engaging content.
- Comfortable making phone calls, following up with leads, and chatting confidently with families.
- Strong communication skills (in person, on the phone, and online).
- Previous experience in administration, reception, childcare, education, camps, customer service, or event planning is a plus.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn — bonus if you’re familiar with social media tools or Canva.
- Must LOVE working with kids ages 5+ (patience + positivity is key).
