Looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a Project Management Office Specialist to join our team!
What You Will Do
- Report to the Director, Project Controls & Risk
- Manage the Enterprise Project Controls and Management System (EPCM) – Contruent (formerly ARES PRISM)
- Serve as EPCM system administrator and superuser, responsible for system updates, maintenance, configuration, user setup, access control, security, and dictionary management
- Initiate project controls and archive projects in the EPCM
- Develop and support a community of practice by sharing best practices, providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and proposing solutions
- Ensure system data integrity and reporting accuracy across capital projects
- Develop custom dashboards and reports for enterprise KPIs, cost analysis, variance tracking, and Integrated Change Management (e.g., ratio by change type)
- Compile lessons learned during project close-out
- Monitor PMO and ECE enterprise reporting alignment with TTC Finance/PfMO reporting requirements
- Cross-reference data across multiple systems to ensure reporting consistency
- Ensure that PMO procedures and activities are aligned with other TTC Groups, Departments and Sections, as required.
- Collaborate with ECE staff, TTC departments, external agencies, and subject matter experts to understand corporate directives, standards, tools, and data sources
- Assess and coordinate reviews of internal and external documents for accuracy and approval
- Maintain document revisions and implement changes with a focus on quality and data management
- Develop and deliver training programs related to PMO Governing Documents
What Skills Do You Bring
- Demonstrate appropriate and effective interpersonal communications through various media
- Understand and apply administrative policies, processes, and procedures
- Use office technology, software and applications
What Qualifications Do You Bring
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (e.g., technical or business)
- Hands on user experience with Enterprise Project Controls and Management System (e.g. Contruent or similar)
- A minimum of 2+ years of project controls experience and knowledge of project controls principles
- Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing portfolio-level data
- Experience using Power BI or similar tools for custom reporting
- Experience in leading, facilitating, and coordinating process modeling and developing governance documents
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail
- Project Management Office (PMO) setting is an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and codes
- Excellent client management, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
