Position Summary:
As a Plumbing Site Foreman, you will oversee plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality control and adherence to budgetary constraints. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your construction management skills to supervise teams effectively and manage resources efficiently. Your expertise in blueprint reading and schematics will be essential in interpreting project plans. With a Red Seal certification and strong communication skills, you will foster collaboration among team members while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily plumbing operations on-site to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to code.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to guide installation and retrofitting.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to deliver top-tier workmanship.
- Produce and maintain daily as-built drawings for all plumbing and hydronic installations.
- Assist with project budgeting and estimating, while monitoring on-site expenses to stay within budget.
- Train, mentor, and oversee plumbing crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and manage workers; handle related staffing activities.
- Establish and maintain work schedules; coordinate with other trades and work units to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Plumber Certification (Red Seal preferred).
- Proven experience as a site foreman or lead hand in multi-unit retrofit projects.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, building codes, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time, priorities, and personnel effectively.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with creating and updating as-built documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
