Job Overview: As a Plastic Extrusion Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our business by selling our own unique custom manufacturing services to new and existing clients. You will play a key role in identifying sales opportunities for our services, negotiating contracts, and developing long-term relationships with customers in a variety of industries.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Assist in prospecting new clients in industries such as construction, doors, windows, industrial, agriculture, and consumer goods & components.
· Develop a deep understanding of our plastic extrusion processes, materials, and machinery to provide tailored solutions for customers.
. Have an understanding of various forms of plastics.
· Develop a strong understanding of the services we can provide our clientele.
· Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Assist in preparing quotes/proposals for extrusion solutions based on customer needs.
· Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
· Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.
· Work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure that customer/client requirements are met efficiently.
Qualifications:
. Plastic sales experience (required).
· Experience in plastic extrusion specifically or related fields (preferred).
· Basic understanding of plastic extrusion processes and materials.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical products to clients in a clear and compelling way.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
· Willingness to travel to client sites.
· A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though not required.
