Objectives
1. Increase, maintain, and oversee both Member and Prospective Member engagement with effective communications that enhance membership value via Websites, Blog, Email, App, and Social Media
2. Ensure all CGoC websites’ content is current and accurately conveys Club culture, programs, and services
3. Keep Brand Guideline criteria central in all communications
Major Responsibilities
Member Communications for CGoC
- Create and collaborate, edit, and send all Member communications, including bi-weekly newsletters, referral campaigns, department promotions, etc.
- Liaise with communications committee for editorial oversight and brand adherence
- Collaborate with managers & GMs to ensure campaigns for each Club are timely, engaging, buzz worthy, compelling, and on brand
- Coordinate with GMs to ensure email frequency is appropriate, and make adjustments to email schedule when necessary
- Create, edit, and send all communications to Alumni
- Ensure all Member-focused events are well communicated across Clubs
- Proactively provide monthly metrics for CGoC Member communications (measure engagement/responsiveness via open rate, click-through rates)
- Manage the CGoC Member App inbox and support/troubleshoot member and staff inquiries about the app
- Create and collaborate, edit, and send all email communications to Clinic patients, including monthly newsletters, announcements, special event promotions, etc.
- Oversee Member databases updating and cleaning (email contacts) for both current and new Members at all Clubs
Coordinate with head office staff to acquire regular lists of member contacts, and update MailChimp audiences regularly
Content Manager of all CGoC Websites
- Liaise with GMs, executive team and agencies to ensure all CGoC websites are kept up-to-date and run optimally for both Members and prospective Members, by continually updating with fresh images, content, and blog articles
- Build and publish new pages, as needed, for new programs, events, promotions, and offerings in collaboration with GMs and department managers
- Where necessary, work with website developers, agencies, and copywriters to design and develop new modules & pages for the websites
- Manage and maintain any data changes with information from department managers (i.e. schedules or changes in offerings/staff)
- Manage and regularly update event calendars for all Clubs
- Gather web analytics (page views, time spent on each page, referral site) & report monthly
- Gather web analytics (web leads) for each Club & report weekly
- Coordinate with and support IT upgrades to website infrastructure, where necessary
Living Well Blog Editor
- Receive, edit and generate content under breadth of health and wellness themes
- Liaise with blog contributors to manage content calendar
- Utilize social channels and email marketing to guide followers back to blog
CGoC’s Digital Marketing Presence
- Liaise with Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure relevant and topical content that represents CGoC’s vision and voice is regularly posted on CGoC’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Review and collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist to create sponsored Meta ads promoting Club campaigns and membership initiatives
- Oversee and support Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure Google ads are created that reflect the Club’s campaigns and membership initiatives
Videography & Photography Content
- Support Digital Marketing Specialist & agencies with their relationship with external content creators
- Oversee and support shot list production and mood boards for content creator shoots
- Edit videography to create reels & ad content to promote the Clubs to prospective members, when necessary
- Produce, write scripting, and assist in the editing process of all video productions, when necessary
- Where necessary, coordinate photography & videography (incl. talent acquisition, coordination with department man-agers and Club staff, etc.) projects for web, digital, and print use
Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate, run, and manage weekly Communications meeting with communications team and GMs to update on upcoming and ongoing projects, web leads, analytics on ad performance, etc.
- Manage and regularly update Internal Marketing Task List as Marketing & Communications requests are submitted
- Work with GMs and Graphic Designer to maintain fresh content on Clinic perimeter screens
- Coordinate with and support CGoC’s Graphic Designer, when necessary
- Support all CGoC staff with communications requests, when necessary
Working Relationships/Contacts
Work closely with communications team, GMs, executive team, and department managers to execute all CGoC marketing and communications strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BA Degree or College Certificate in Communications or related field
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes
- Exceptional communicator
- Track record of innovation and creative thinking and writing
- Experience with writing and editing content (web, articles, emails)
- Experience with creating and managing communications/marketing strategy
- Proven experience of overseeing and managing others
- Proven understanding of digital marketing and its role in business
- Experience with MailChimp, Sprout Social (or other social media management tool), M365 Suite, Photoshop, video editing software
- Highly organized
