The job
As Maintenance Assistant you support the day to day maintenance of the Biggar facility. You monitor and report to the Maintenance Manager on time and attendance. You help coordinate and facilitate audit and contractor requirements.
What you are doing:
- Obtain Price Quotes for Parts and Services
- SAP Purchase Orders and tracking of orders/receiving
- Ongoing Vendor Supplier Evaluation Documentation
- SAP vendor master data re new vendor set up and banking information for PML
- Maximizing SAP implementation and process improvements
- Maintenance Payroll with Kronos
- Training support for Kronos for Maintenance Employees
- Maintenance Service Agreements
- Comply with all procedures, regulation, and applicable policies.
- Encourage best practices and streamlining processes.
- Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program.
- Support Health and Safety and team building initiatives.
- Welcome colleagues, customers and business partners as well as timely response to inquiries.
Who you are
- High school diploma, associate degree in office / business administration or similar field or equivalent work experience
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- You are aware of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements
- Minimum 3 years progressive administrative experience
- Experience with Office365 and SAP
- Experience with Kronos and/or Maximo is an asset.
