HR Consultant
Reporting to the Executive Director and supporting the leadership team at Opportunities Yukon (OY), the Human Resources (HR) Consultant is accountable for a variety of human resource generalist activities, including recruitment and staffing; benefits administration; performance planning, evaluation and management; policy development; occupational health and safety; and compensation planning.
The HR Consultant carries out the day-to-day administration of human resource management activities and collaborates with managers, supervisors and employees. This position provides advice and guidance to ensure consistent and appropriate implementation of employer best practices, existing policies and statutory/legislative requirements.
This is an indeterminate, full-time position.
Qualifications
(be sure to indicate in your resume where you gained the qualification or experience and during what time period):
- Extensive experience delivering a variety of human resource management services and developing related procedures and policies;
- Experience providing services and advice to managers and supervisors;
- Experience coordinating and prioritizing a variety of activities;
- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management (or a related field) and CPHR designation are considered assets.
