We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. This role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various tasks efficiently. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and improvements in residential or commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete assigned projects.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
- Use an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general construction practices.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job assignments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.13-$38.88 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week
