About us: We pride ourselves on being Calgary's friendliest Muay Thai gym, a home away from home. You’ll feel the warmth and spirit as soon as you walk in and see all the sweaty faces and wide grins. Equally welcoming is what you won’t see -- mirror-gazing or macho rivalries. As a Muay Thai and Fitness gym we want to create a safe and fun environment for everyone who visits. We are now accepting applications for a front desk receptionist, someone with an energetic personality and who loves fitness.
Your contribution to the team:
- To create a positive, warm and exciting introduction for every existing and prospective member that comes into our gym.
You will be fully responsible for managing member relations through our computer member management software system and excel. This will include:
- Class check-in process
- Handling all new and existing member purchases
- Handling memberships and membership inquiries
- Following up on leads as well as selling renewals/upgrades to current members.
- Signing in members through excel.
Other duties also include:
- Daily cleaning duties to make sure the gym is always at its best.
- Opening and closing duties.
- Creating and improving our social media presence by uploading/creating photos and videos
Qualifications:
- Energetic and outgoing with amazing customer service skills.
- YOU LOVE FITNESS (willing to try our classes, so you can really understand what our gym is about).
- Proficient with social media, ability to create posts and engaging captions.
- Experienced with excel and google calendar
- Experienced with editing software's such as photoshop, adobe etc to create posters (A BONUS)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
