Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and referring clinics and will play a key role in ensuring smooth front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Review and process faxed referrals and incoming documents
- Manage patient intake and registration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and referring physicians
- Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, and data entry
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Cleaning sleep apnea devices and assist with providing instructions to patients in how to set up HSAT devices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using computers and EMR systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Friendly and compassionate attitude with a focus on patient care
