We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
- Handle credit and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience.
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive shopping experience.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Technical sales knowledge is a plus, enabling effective communication of product features and benefits.
