Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with hands-on experience in field service and equipment repair. This role requires proficiency in working with various electronic systems, including low voltage applications, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform field service tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on electronic systems to ensure reliability.
- Work with computer hardware and networking systems to resolve technical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or similar role in electronics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and hardware components.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
