Job Title: Director of Operations, Disability Management Services
Location: GTA (4 days per week in office with National Travel as Required)
Reports to: Vice President, Employer Services
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operations, Disability Management Services to lead and oversee the disability management operations across Canada. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Employer Services, this role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery, business growth, and operational excellence nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage national disability management operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
- Oversee service delivery for key accounts, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements and contract commitments.
- Provide leadership and direction to regional team leads across Canada, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.

Manage the full spectrum of disability services including:
- Short-Term Disability (STD)
- Long-Term Disability (LTD)
- Maintenance and Monitoring Disability Programs for Regulatory Bodies
- Rehabilitation Case Management
- Drive business planning initiatives, focusing on strategic growth, operational consolidation, and service innovation.
- Ensure financial targets are met by managing budgets, improving efficiencies, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance service quality and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in disability management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
- Strong operational management experience with a proven track record of delivering business results.
- Demonstrated experience managing national teams and leading complex service delivery models.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
- CDMP (Certified Disability Management Professional) designation is considered a strong asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
