Summary: We are looking for an employee who is flexible and adaptable in supporting three female individuals within a complex residential home, as well as someone who can work in a team environment with other staff members. Support offered would include assisting with evening routines, medication administration, and helping individuals prepare their meals. Staff will also assist individuals within the community as needed.
Qualifications: Diploma in Disability Supports and/or related education preferred.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Experience providing personal care and behavioral support required.
A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification.
Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
Experience with Outlook, Microsoft word, and computer use required.
Salary: $21.69 - $26.49 This is dependent on education. Benefits are available after 90 day Qualifying Period.
