Customer Service and Administration Professional
We are a wholesale textile company based in Vaughan, ON, seeking a full-time Customer Service and Administration Professional. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist customers with order placement and provide product information
- Respond to or redirect inquiries received through the general email line
- Update and maintain customer information in the database
- Print and review daily and monthly orders, noting any special instructions for warehouse staff
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely fulfillment
- Prepare invoices or forward them to the billing department as needed
- Process product returns and replacements in accordance with customer concerns
- Communicate shipping times and product availability to customers and sales representatives
- Collaborate with internal departments to stay informed on new products, services, and policies
- Prepare and send account status reports to customers
- Welcome and assist office visitors, including notifying staff of arrivals
- Support the annual inventory count
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills required:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions
- Proficient with computers and technology, with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Advanced data entry and typing skills, with speed and accuracy
- Experience handling customer calls and emails, with clear, professional, and concise communication
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- 2 years of related work experience
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working in Oracle NetSuite ERP
- Bilingual in French
- Sales experience
Compensation:
- Company Healthcare plan after 90-day probation period.
