Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Copywriter to join our fast-growing Creative team at CanPrev. It's a rewarding, fast-paced environment. Great for an ambitious professional who is collaborative, enthusiastic, independent, flexible, people-oriented, cool under pressure, organized, and driven by curiosity. As a Copywriter, you will develop unique creative concepts that connect with our audience and move them to action, bringing them to life with both long and short copy. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with other creatives on campaigns, developing ad concepts, providing longform copy in the form of blogs and other educational materials, and writing for multiple natural health brands under the CanPrev umbrella.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with graphic designers, content creators, copywriters, and fellow creatives to conceptualize and write advertising materials for digital, print, and beyond
- Conceive of campaign and advertising concepts that move audiences to action
- Write long-form content pieces
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing tight deadlines
- Adhere to brand guidelines and work within requirements established in creative briefs
- Effectively maintain various brand voices while adeptly switching between them
- Work remotely on EST with occasional visits to our Scarborough office as required
Core Skills & Qualifications:
- A highly collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment
- The ability to work independently
- Creativity and curiosity – you’re not afraid to ask questions and dive into the research
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of copywriting and creative work
- Experience with copywriting, advertising, or a similar role
- The ability to multitask while remaining punctual, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication
- An appreciation for feedback
- The capacity to learn and differentiate between multiple brands
- Agency experience is an asset
- Experience writing for American audiences is an asset
- An interest in natural health or holistic nutrition is a plus
