Viscor is currently looking for a CNC Brake Press Setup Operator with AMADA Experience (preferred) for its Day Shift.
(Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm)
JOB DUTIES
- Set up and Operate CNC Amada or Other Punch/Turret Presses or Brake Presses for sheet metal manufacturing
- Give instruction as required to support and assist other machine operators
- Blueprint reading
- Measuring of parts
- Interpreting precise measuring instruments
- Follow quality control procedures
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Document work completed
- Clean and lubricate equipment
- Support and Assist other machine operators as required
- All other duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Min. 3 years CNC punch press or Brake Press set up experience (Amada preferred)
- Blueprint reading
- Machine set up and operation
- Experience with precise measuring instruments along with imperial measuring tape
- Must have Punch Press operation experience
- Sheet Metal fabrication experience is required
- Safety conscious
- Fluent in English
