Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls from suites attendants and customers to take orders or respond to basic inquiries in a professional manner.
- Accurately enter phone orders from suite guests or attendants into the POS (EZP) system to ensure kitchen staff and liquor room attendants receive and prepare orders promptly.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all phone orders to support smooth back-of-house service during events.
- Communicate effectively with suite attendants and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
- Follow established procedures for verifying credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper authorization.
- Accurately review, consolidate, and process Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and invoices for final guest billing.
- Ensure all guest transactions, final bills, and credit payments are completed and verified before the guest leaves the suite after each event.
- Prepare and finalize guest bills, maintaining thorough documentation for all charges.
- Maintain organized and accurate transaction records and supporting documents.
- Keep the cashier office clean and orderly, ensure computers are properly shut down at the end of the shift, and secure all customer information to protect data privacy.
- Remain primarily stationed in the cashier office, seated, while managing tasks and providing back-of-house support.
- Assist with general office and event-related administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in cashiering, call handling, or administrative roles an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial and order-related processes.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in an office-based, event-driven environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems or order/invoice processing tools is a plus.
- Must be available for varied shifts including nights and weekends and late evenings.
- Other duties as assigned.
