Casual Administrative Assistant II – Regina

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Employment Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant II will be responsible for ensuring quality clerical support to Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment through effective communication, organization, and technical skills. Duties will include, but not be limited to, front-end reception, clerical support, responding to and directing public inquiries, preparing meeting rooms, and any other duties assigned by the Employment Services Manager.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum Grade XII, with some postsecondary training in a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a certificate or diploma in Office Education or Office Administration or business college training. Current post-secondary students with Monday availability are welcome to apply. A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with Institute staff and other external agencies; extensive understanding of Métis culture and employment and training needs of Métis. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer skills are essential. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.

Term: October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (possibility of extension)
Remuneration: $20.81/hour
Location: Regina, SK
