Banquets Houseperson
Our Banquets Houseperson is an integral part of our operation, ensuring set-up and tear-down of all of our events, working closely with the Banquets Team to ensure Event Orders are met, and events are meeting guest expectations.
This is a full-time, seasonal position, beginning in December 2025.
Starting Pay Rate: $18.60 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.75
Job Duties Include:
- Set-up and breakdown of function rooms
- To provide any service required by the guests on the banquet floor.
- To help maintain a clean and organized workplace.
- Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- One year experience in a Food & Beverage operation.
- Previous Banquet experience an asset.
- Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. and be physically fit.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be a self-starter.
