PRIMARY FUNCTION
As a F&B Banquet Supervisor, your primary goal is to oversee banquet operations and events while supporting the restaurant operations when needed. You will ensure efficient and profitable F&B operations while upholding the highest standards of quality and service. Your role encompasses supervising banquet staff, coordinating events, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead banquet service operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown
- Coordinate with kitchen team for banquet menu execution and timing
- Train, coach and mentor banquet servers and support staff
- Assist in supervising the restaurant operations as needed
- Model exemplary customer service and problem resolution
- Support event planning and execution with sales and events team
- Monitor banquet labor costs and maintain budgets
- Manage banquet inventory and supplies
- Enforce cash handling and service policies
- Maintain health and safety compliance
- Communicate effectively regarding event details and guest feedback
- Perform hands-on duties including serving, setting up conference rooms, and supporting restaurant service when required
EXPERIENCE
- Banquet or restaurant supervisory experience preferred
- Strong event coordination and planning skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of banquet service standards and hospitality trends
- Exceptional communication and collaboration
- Knowledge of Squirrel (asset)
- Able to work variable shifts; stand for long periods
- Event planning experience an asset
