Your Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Set up and take down event spaces according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) floor plans
- Fulfill all linen requirements for each event
- Execute on event details that go above and beyond the standard floor plans, ensuring every detail is covered
- Execute client requests to ensure a personalized event experience
- Carry out BEO instructions with attention to detail
- Provide service with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of function rooms and support spaces
Qualifications:
- Has 6 months to 1 year of hospitality or banquet experience (more is a bonus, but not required)
- Is over the age of 19
- Is outgoing, confident, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys working with a diverse range of guests and team members
- Holds a Serve It Right certificate (or is willing to obtain one)
- Is physically able to lift and move banquet equipment and supplies
- Has open availability or flexibility to work on holidays, weekends, and evenings as required
